This special seasonal batch of all purpose salve is a tribute to a kindred friendship that’s brought together southern and northern New Mexican plant medicines. This blend contains chaparral, or creosote bush, which does not grow in northern New Mexico; and sagebrush (Artemisia tridentata) which is does not grow in southern New Mexico. Our blend is topped off with an infusion of crabapple blossoms from our own tree, curtailing the strong herbal aromas. Other than the base oil, this limited 2017 batch is made with New Mexico ingredients. Chaparral and sagebrush are both well known for their antibacterial and antifungal and general skin care properties, making a great all purpose salve.
