Description
This loose leaf herbal blend uses just three simple ingredients to create a great kidney tonic: Cota (Indian Tea) wild harvested from the arroyos near our home, Cañutillo del Llano (horsetail) wild harvested in the Sangre de Cristo mountains, and our homegrown Yerba buena (spearmint) for soothing flavor. This is a well-rounded blend of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants to aid in overall kidney health.
Cota – blood purifier, diuretic
Cañutillo del Llano (horsetail) – diuretic, high in silica (for bones and connective tissue).
Spearmint – anti-inflammatory, stomach soothing, flavorful.
Directions: use one teaspoon per cup of water. Bring water to a boil, remove from heat, add loose leaf herbs and let steep for at least 10 minutes. For maximum benefit, steep overnight. Servings: approximately 10-15 cups depending on cup size and preferred strength.
