This arthritis relief salve was created using steam distilled essential oil of snakeweed combined with an oil infusion of chamomile flowers, both from our herb gardens. Both snakeweed and chamomile have been used traditionally to treat arthritic pain.

Our Remedio de Coyaye – Snakeweed Arthritis Salve was created after we harvested coyaye (snakeweed / Gutierrezia) from our front yard and then steam distilled it. We used the essential oil that we extracted and combined it with an oil infusion of chamomile flowers from our herb gardens. Both coyaye and chamomile have been used traditionally to treat arthritic pain.
Ingredients: Snakeweed essential oil, chamomile infused olive oil, beeswax.
